Tarlac State U receives land donation

TARLAC CITY, Philippines — The provincial government and the Tarlac State University [TSU] recently held a ceremonial turn-over and deed of donation signing of a parcel of land, part of the former Uquico oval at the state university’s main audio-visual room. The ceremony was attended by Governor Victor Yap, Board Members Enrico de Leon and Antonio Cervantes Jr., TSU president Dr. Pricilla Viuya and other university officials. The deed of donation was a result of Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution No. 180-2011 dated December 2011 authorizing Yap to transfer without cost, a 6,808 square meters lot area in favor of TSU Viuya for her part thanked Yap and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan for their generosity and for their continuous assistance to the university. “TSU as a premiere state university serves as one of the province’s active stakeholders in catapulting social development by catering quality education to young Tarlaquenos and to other neighboring provinces,” Yap said
