MANILA, Philippines - A dream came true for C.P. Sta. Teresa Elementary School for acquiring a new e-library through the generous support of the Lufthansa company. A turn over ceremony of the new school library was held last July 20. The E-library is an embodiment of the goodwill of the management of the Lufthansa Technik Philippines, a gesture of their commitment in uplifting the educational system of the Filipino children most particularly for the CPSTES and Taguig City as a whole.

Dr. Joselito Mataac, school principal of CPSTES, and GPTA president April Creencia accepted the “big key” as a symbol of responsibility and commitment for the betterment of the school children for them to become wide readers as well as for the teachers.

The big event was graced (in photo) by Lufthansa Technik president Gerald Freilinghaus, vice president for finance Troy Tower, new VP finance officer Sabine Palkoski, finance manager Wayne Llegado, chairman of employee council Erlaster Lumanlan Jr. and employee council secretary Ditas Salayon.

Freilinghaus committed his utmost support to the CPSTES family by saying “I’m blessed to come here even at this crucial point.” He mentioned that Lufthansa is a maintenance company of airplanes coming from Europe Australia and other parts of the world. In his remarks, he said “In the years to come, these children might be employed by Lufthansa as skilled workers, aircraft mechanics and accountants.” He further urged everyone to aim high for the school children.
