School integrates 3D in Science, Math curriculum

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A decade ago, the use of three dimensional (3D) materials for educational purposes is unimaginable. After all, the main use of 3D is for entertainment, for added special effects on movies.

Today, Eton International School has made it possible for 3D to become an integral part of its curriculum, from pre-school to high school, as it introduced the 3D learning program called Eureka.

Eton is the first school in the country to use this e-learning software for subjects Science, Math, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The software will soon add World History in its line up of interactive subjects.

Eureka uses 3D to catch the attention of the students so that they are able to focus on the lessons presented by the program. Included in the software are a number of 3D simulations, videos, quizzes, texts, images, web links and more.

From becoming being a school without borders with its international curriculum, Eton has also become the School of the Future, pioneering in education breakthroughs and technologies.
