Eton launches search for Star Scholars

MANILA, Philippines - Eton International School will award full and partial scholarships worth P2 million to students whose general average are 90 and above, have received local or international recognition, and who excel in a particular field of study.

For students who pass the test with a grade of 96 percent and above, a scholarship grant worth P160,000 will be given. A P100,000 grant will be given to students with a grade of 90-95 percent while P30,000 scholarship grants are for Eton Star Scholars who are part of the top ten percent of their class. Eton Wizards with a grade of 90-100 percent on a subject-based exam will receive P10,000 grant.

Qualifying examinations for the Star Scholars are ongoing until April 19.

Star scholars will get the full benefits of an Eton education which include the development of multiple intelligences, 21 learning skills through 21 learning styles, Mandarin classes, and access to the school’s smart board technology, touch-screen computers and learning tablets. Students will have classmates from over 24 nationalities from around the world, and exposure to multicultural communities.
