LPU Batangas retains international certification

MANILA, Philippines - Lyceum of the Philippines University–Batangas recently passed the Periodic Audit of its Quality Management System from its certifying body, Det Norske Veritas (DNV). After the two-day scrutiny of documents, inspection of facilities and equipment and observation of classes, DNV External Auditors namely, Alexander Jose Javier and Jessen Jay Aguas, found 100 percent compliance to ISO 9001:2008 standard.

The DNV auditors also took note of 10 best practices of LPU–Batangas that can serve as model for other educational institutions.

DNV auditors observed positive indications of the effective implementation of instructional management systems and loss control management systems which were the focus areas of the audit. The noteworthy efforts of different LPU work units, which were recognized by the DNV auditors, revealed the university’s commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
