Faith hosts learning expo for educators in South Luzon
MANILA, Philippines - First Asian Institute of Technology and Humanities (FAITH) in Tanauan City, Batangas recently hosted the Future-Proof Your Students: The Diwa Superior Learning Experience (SLE) Expo, a seminar series held last Dec. 10, attracting 500 educators from the South Luzon area.
The seminar for educators and administrators from private basic education schools in the first in a series, which will then make the rounds of key cities in the National Capital Region on Jan. 7 and 21; followed by Bulacan on Jan. 13; Cebu on Jan. 28; and Davao in Feb. 4. Other cities in the country will also be visited.
The expo will have topics on technology integration in Philippine classrooms, K to 12, change management, and a workshop on the application of technology in the Understanding by Design approach. Speakers include Jose Ma. Policarpio, Diwa executive director and ICT-integration advocate; Isagani Cruz, DepEd adviser to the K to 12 Steering Committee; and Nenita Habulan, educational technology expert.
