MCLE program on best way to lend money safely

MANILA, Philippines - A Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE)-accredited program, the “Best practices to protect lenders in credit transactions” is a seminar to be held on June 18 at the Peninsula Manila. Expert speakers and practitioners will teach the right approaches, best practice strategies, and preventive and remedial action in handling various credit transactions ranging from real estate and chatter mortgage to trust indenture, guarantees, suretyships, letters of credit and many more.

Lectures is Atty. Rafael A. Morales, managing partner and former head of the banking, securities and finance department of Sycip Salazar Hernandez and Gatmaitan. He is an authority in credit transactions and has authored two books on commercial law and numerous legal articles. He has also been cited in the Euromoney’s Legal Media Group Guide to the world’s leading banking lawyers. He is a member of the New York bar and president-elect of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association.

Another speaker is Atty. Patricia-Ann Prodigalidad, partner at Angara Abello Concepcion Regala and Cruz (ACCRA) Law Offices. An expert in commercial law anzd litigation, she also has a master of laws of degree from Harvard Law School and has the distinction of being a number one bar topnotcher.
