Britesparks International School summer program
MANILA, Philippines - This summer, while the country endures the intense El Nino heat and families manage occasional escapes to beaches, swimming pools and other cool spots, the Britesparks International School will be using its off-season classrooms to provide friendly and stimulating havens for students from 1 to 19 years old.
From April 12 to May 21, Britesparks will be turning its campus into a romping ground for a smaller-than-usual population of students, from preschool to high-school level, where they can attend supplementary classes on fundamental academics, art and sports. There will be age-appropriate programs for reading, writing and math, as well as theater, dance and martial arts.
The highlight of this summer is Britesparks’ FasTracKids, a radical new education system from the US which uses a state-of-the-art “Interactive Board”. This Britesparks program, for children from 4 to 8 years old, develops critical thinking and self-confidence with the study of diverse topics ranging from creativity and economics to astronomy and earth sciences.
With most classes running for just 2 hours a day, Mondays to Fridays for the younger students and MWF or TTh for the older ones, the supplementary school activities should make it a well-balanced break for Britesparks’ summer students.
