MFI scholarship deadline Mar 30

MANILA, Philippines - The deadline for acceptance of applicants for the three-year scholarship program of the MFI Technological Institute (formerly Meralco Foundation Institute) is March 30, 2010. MFI needs 170 students for the first year whose qualifications are: Filipino citizen between 16 to 22 years old; must be high school graduate; pass the competitive admission tests, interview and orientation classes, etc. Successful applicants to the scholarship known as Industrial Technician Program (ITP) will enjoy free tuition, uniforms, materials and supplies for projects and calculator. ITP courses include Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Tool and Die Technology. Applicants for partial scholarship are also accepted, especially for the two-year Information Technology (IT) and the new courses under the Dual Training System (DTS) such as Automotive & Motorcycle Technology, Industrial Mechatronics Technology, Network Administration Technology and Refrigeration & Airconditioning Technology.
