ABKDamayan Class 2010 registration starts
MANILA, Philippines - Registration for ABKDamayan Class 2010 will be held on Jan. 29, Feb. 5, 12, 19 (Fridays only) from 1 to 5 p.m. at the STAR Group of Publications Bldg., 202 cor. R. Oca and Railroad streets, Port Area, Manila.
Interested individuals should be high school undergraduate, 18 years old and above and of good moral character. Other requirements are: birth certificate, barangay clearance and four 1 x 1 ID pictures. Classes, which start on March 6, will be held every Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m. at the above address.
ABKDamayan is one of the projects of Operation Damayan, the humanitarian arm of the STAR Group of Publications with a mission to help out-of-school youths get an elementary and high school diploma. Review class and use of modules are free. ABKDamayan is accredited by the Bureau of Alternative Learning System (BALS) of the Department of Education. For inquiries, call 5277777 loc. 28.
