Symposium on sexual abuse prevention

MANILA, Philippines - Child Protection Unit (CPU) Philippines in cooperation with Far Eastern University Center for Continuing Education is presenting a three-hour symposium entitled “Taking Sex Out of Sex Education: A novel approach to child sexual abuse prevention.” The symposium will be tomorrow, Nov. 13, from 2 to 5 p.m. at FEU Auditorium, Morayta, Manila.

CPU is bringing in from the University of Southern Maine, USA, Dr. Constance Ostis, a social worker who has specialized in child welfare and child sexual abuse, to introduce her technique.

Parents, teachers, psychologists, school administrators, social workers and other professionals working with children will greatly benefit from this symposium.
