MANILA, Philippines – Far Eastern University (FEU) bagged two awards at the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) 2008 National Search for Best Student Services Program Award. FEU was honored with the “Outstanding Student Services Program” (national level) and “Best Student Services Program in National Capital Region” (regional level) by CHED.

Fourteen regional winners from public and private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) all over the Philippines participated in the event at the National College for Public Administration and Governance (NCPAG) Assembly Hall of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City last April 17.

“We are thankful for your recognition of the commitment and collaborative efforts of the FEU Student Affairs and Services (FEU-SAS) Team in providing quality and better student services from admission to graduation,” said FEU president Dr. Lydia Echauz after she received the symbolic cheques worth P200,000, glass trophy, and bronze plaque from CHED Commissioners led by Chairman Emmanuel Angeles.
