Ovaltine presents Quiz Bee grand finals

MANILA, Philippines - Ovaltine, the Filipinos’ favourite choco-malt beverage, presents the 29th National Quiz Bee Grand Finals on Saturday, April 4, at the Development Academy of the Philippines in Tagaytay City. The event will bring together and showcase the brilliant minds of Filipino students as they battle it out for the top spot in the Makabayan, Mathematics, Science and Technology and General Information categories.

Proclaimed Quiz Bee Champions for each category and grade level will receive the President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo trophy, a Quiz Bee Gold Medallion of Excellence and a Quiz Bee National Champion Certificate. They will also take home a special prize from Ovaltine among other prizes. 

The National Quiz Bee Grand Finals is open to all who want to watch live on April 4, 2009. Supporters, schoolmates, teachers and other viewers who will not be able to troop to Tagaytay can watch out for the two-part airing of the championships on Studio 23 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on April 18 and 25.
