FEU alumni Christmas Affair
The Far Eastern University annual alumni “salo-salo” and Christmas affair hosted by the FEU Alumni Foundation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the FEU Campus Pavilion, starting with a holy mass at the FEU Chapel, FEUAF president Victorino Cruz announced. The event aims to gather together the alumni to feel the Christmas spirit in the campus with the university community. It will also give the alumni the opportunity to visit their alma mater. Admission is free. One of the highlights of the affair is the giving of recognition awards to alumni placers in this year’s various board examinations. The awards will be presented by FEU chair Lourdes Montinola FEU president Lydia Echauz, assisted by Cruz and the different institute deans.
Highly individualized learning for kids
Knowing that all forms of learning emanates from the brain, Golden Angels Superlearning Center is brain centered so that it can address developmental delays or enhance the child’s brain development to raise the child’s IQ at its most prolific stage, which is from birth to four years old. School directress Annelle Monroy has created a preschool curriculum that will stimulate all parts of the brain. The school uses the Superlearning Technique of Education, where learning is highly individualized (five students to every teacher) and therefore can take in students anytime of the year. Because of new students that enrolled in for the second semester, the school opened additional classes in the different levels.
