10 highest paying jobs for Filipino fresh graduates
MANILA, Philippines — Recruitment website Jobstreet revealed the highest paying industries for fresh graduates in its Annual Salary Report.
Basing on 2013 disclosures of companies hiring workers with new diplomas, Jobstreet said the travel and tourism industry pays the highest with an average salary of P20,600.
"Other industries which also give fat paychecks to fresh graduates are in Telecommunications with P19,900, IT Hardware with P19,000, Hotel/Hospitality with P18,900 and IT Software with P18,800," Jobstreet said in a recent statement.

Jobstreet said that the travel industry, which includes air companies and hotels, is also the "friendliest" for offering a wide range of jobs to new graduates.
Some specializations, meanwhile, are also better compensated outside the top-paying industries, the recruiting firm said.
"The JobStreet.com Annual Salary Report shows that fresh graduates who will take on IT jobs can earn an average of P19,400 monthly," it said.
Information technology professionals are followed by hotel management and tourism employees in terms of earnings.

In 2013, around 200,000 job openings for fresh graduates were posted on JobStreet.com, with companies offering an average salary of P16,700.
