Aquino quashes rumors of Pisay transfer
MANILA, Philippines — President Benigno Aquino III on Wednesday ended rumors that the Philippine Science High School's (PSHS) Diliman campus will be transferred to another location.
He said that the PSHS will stay in its current location so as not to disrupt classes.
The President also asked Science Secretary Mario Montejo to order the improvements in the school's facilities after noticing some needed repairs in the gym where the ceremony was held.
Baka gusto mong pag-aralan at pagtulungan natin," Aquino said toward the end of the speech.
He also observed the poor conditions of the state-run school's sports facilities.
The President also vowed to push for the completion of the proposed 19 Philippine Science High School campuses, as well as a campus for each region.
