‘Isa pang rape victim ni Vhong (?)’

SA PAGPAPATULOY ng kwento ni Vhong Navarro, habang kainitan ng bakbakan sa Prosecutor’s Office sa Department of Justice sa harap ng three (3) man panel, biglang may nagsampa ng kasong RAPE laban kay Vhong sa Prosecutor’s Office sa Pasig City.

Makalipas ang apat na taon siya rin daw ay ginahasa umano ni Vhong Navarro. Ang kanyang abogado na si Virgilio Batalla na isang dating P/Superintendent sa Southern Police District, na bihasang isang Certified Public Accountant (CPA) ang tumayong abogado nitong biktima na siya mismo ang nagpangalan bilang si Roxanne A. Cabanero, isang dating kontestant sa Slimmer’s World, Ms Bikini Open na umano’y nakilala ni Vhong nung sila ay mag ‘guest’ sa tanghaling programa ng Channel 2 na ‘IT’S SHOWTIME’.

I ROXANNE CABANERO y ACOSTA A.K.A ROXANNE MANUELA ACOSTA of legal age, Filipino, single with Postal Address at c/o Lingap Pinoy Foundation at #1340 Apolinario St., Biarangay Bangkal, Makati City, after having sworn to in accordance with law depose and say, that:

That I am an official candidate of Ms. Bikini Philippines Pageant sponsored by Slimmer’s World, conducted here in Metro Manila from April 11, 2010 to May 5, 2010.

That I came to know personally FERDINAND NAVARRO y HIPOLITO a.k.a VHONG NAVARRO when our pageant guested in the noon time show “SHOW TIME” at ABS-CBN TV Station on April 24, 2010, wherein VHONG NAVARRO appeared to be friendly to all of the candidates.

I was surprised when a certain female person approached me and introduced herself as one of the staff of the noon time show “Show Time” (I can no longer recall her name) and told me that VHONG NAVARRO wants to get my cell phone number. First I was so amazed because I felt honored of VHONG NAVARRO having interest to get my number and as a matter of courtesy I gave my cellphone number to the lady.

In the afternoon of the same date (April 24, 2010) a number appeared on my cellphone receiving a text message from number 0917-484-@$#% introducing himself as VHONG NAVARRO.

During our communication VHONG NAVARRO suggested that we meet at my hotel room in Astoria Plaza Ortigas, Pasig City, however, I replied to him stating that I couldn’t invite him up because I had roommates and that it was inappropriate for us to meet that way given it was the first time we had met. So instead he offered to Pick me up from my hotel.

I was not satisfied with his invitation at the time and asked him where we will be going? He replied and said “Well dyan lang sa tabi tabi hahaha” I replied “no seriously where?” I also asked “are we gonna have dinner but he said no I have had dinner already so in the end He concluded the communication and said that he would pick me up forst and we would discuss this over coffee instead.

Even though it was unclear to me at the time where VHONG NAVARRO would be taking me I agreed to meet with him thinking that it would be safe as he presented quiet friendly disposition and at the time I did not see anything untoward about his intentions for the meeting.

Within the hours of 10:30 to 11:30 pm VHONG NAVARRO messaged me advising me that he would pick me up a few meters away from the hotel to avoid being seen by any of the contestants or members of the public. (about 15 meters from the main entrance or lobby).

I went down from my hotel room and identified his car a white 4 door vehicle with dark tints. As I approached the car, the car window slightly opened and he showed his face wearing a cap and smiled clearly identifying himself to me.

 I stepped into the vehicle and introduced myself for the first time to Showtime host.

We joked about the circumstances of our meeting and proceeded to converse about the airing I had just attended and he made a few jokes to make me comfortable.

 After introductions and passing conversations he then interjected and said the following “So ano lets go somewhere private” I was shocked at first and I said “What? I thought we were gonna go for coffee?” He laughed and said “alam mo naman hindi ako pwede mag coffee out kasi ako si VHONG NAVARRO mahirap na at ma chismis pa tayo”. I replied and said “ok” so instead VHONG NAVARRO drove around the block and I asked him “since you’re from Manila why don’t youjust take me around manila. He replied and said “Hindi pwede kase may taping ako at on-call ako kaya di ako pwede lumayo”. I took his word for it that he was busy so I agreed to the drive around Ortigas, during this drive we also stopped by a convenient store and purchased some food while he was outside waiting for me. Once I went back to the car I continued to ask questions and probe the actor about his career asking for advice and so forth.

 VHONG NAVARRO told me his history about his career, he even told me about how he thought he would never be accepted because of his thin built. He told me about when he was first discovered by Chito Roño and the achievement of his street boys group dancers.

 During this conversation while driving around the block, I noticed that he placed his hand on mine and began to caress it. I was surprised given we had just met and looked at him and friendly signalled “huy ikaw ha” he replied and said “You’re cute kase” I wanted to show that I was not totally comfortable with this at the time as this was the first meeting and I didn’t know much about VHONG NAVARRO except the fact he is a famous actor/comedian/host.

 It was not long later till VHONG NAVARRO pulled the car over a few meters away from the hotel under a shaded tree. He looked at me and said “So what now..?” I said “So alis nako?” He replied and said “NO no stay first”.
