Sabi ko sa aking sarili, What else is new? Hindi rin ako magugulat kung ang mga pari naman ng San Carlos Seminary ang pagplanuhan nitong si Sammy (the plotter) at siraan pagkatapos. It’s his stinking nature.

Nakatanggap ako ng email galing sa isang nagpakilalang Douglas Gatica, email address [email protected] . Nais kong ipablish ang kanyang mga observation. Binawasan ko lamang ang kanyang email dahil lubhang mahaba subalit ang essence ng kanyang sinasabi ay hindi napalitan. Basahin nating lahat mula pa ito sa Pasadena, California.

I just want to make a few comments regarding your column today, and you really hit the bullseye our country facing right now. Though the president needs to purge and discipline her family (especially her gentleman) who everybody knows they are the cause of this wrangling from left to right to center, it is not proper to call again our poor middle class to go in the street and call for people power. We’re tired of running to the street and shout to the whole world that the president must step down.

Base sa saliksik mo Mr. Calvento na nakakapagduda pala itong Sammy Ong na ito at ayon sa report mo marami pala itong record na hindi naaayon bilang isang official sa isang goverment agency, paano pa kaya itong pinagsisigaw niya? Buti na lang mayroong better judgement itong si Mrs. Roces, kundi lalong mauuto na naman yong nakakarami nating kababayan.

Itong si Sammy Ong ay gumagawa ng kanyang multo pagkatapos natatakot at nagpapakupkop at nagtatawag  ng kung sinu-sino para protektahan siya. He should turnover his tape to proper authorities or call for investigation and do it in the proper and civilized way, unless he has other motives. Our people are tired of over the street complains that’s why most of our children are losing their values and discipline because of the attitude of certain people that influences them.

Tama na ang mga destabilization at magconcentrate na lang tayo kung paano magkaroon ng tamang trabaho at edukasyon ang nakakarami nating kababayan. Just wait for the next election in any level of goverment, in that way they can say/destabilize whatever they want, lahat ng mga paratang na ito ay pang eleksiyon lamang at walang kapupuntahan.

Ito namang archbishop na gustong magpatigil ng jueteng is also part of destabilizing the government. Look at his witnesses, they are not credible enough, ako nga dito sa states na malayo na nakikita ko lang sa television at nababasa sa internet ang mga akusasyon nila ay kulang at hindi kumpleto. Maaring may totoo nga pero their credibility are in question. They have ill motives (sour graping) on their rival or partner before, that’s why they are testifying and are accusing at the same time.

And there is this retired old general who wants to run and takeover the country, what I can say to this general is to return or stop taking pension from the government who until now derives his pension from the poor middle class, in that way he can help our people at least. I understand this general serves our country for most of his life and the last time he serve was in the defense department but look at his record, he did not do anything to improve our lives, now he wants to takeover and run the country, hey old general, that’s baloney. You were not able to instill discipline (the people) in your department when you were there, tapos ngayon gusto mong magpalakad ng gobyerno, wala ka na ngang nagawa noon sa loob ng maraming taong nasa serbisyo ka ngayon pa kaya na malapit ka nang mag-alzeihmer. I don’t want to insult the good general, but they are insulting the intelligence of the poor and the middle class ( which where I belong ).

And there is another one who wants to be a leader, they said he is a former ambassador, I know the name of that ambassador, he was assigned in the middle east before, same time when I was still working there in the middle east. But as far as I know he did not serve us well during his stint there, so what I can say to this former ambassador who unsuccessfully ran for senator is to retire from politicking, anyway he has a column in the same section of yours, he can write his opinion there, in that way he can redeem himself as a real former ambassador/diplomat.

My impression for a diplomat are mild mannered people who can resolve problem in a diplomatic way, hindi kagaya yaong mga ipinakita nilang asal sa tv footage kamakailan na kasama niya yong matandang heneral na nagngingitngit sila sa galit.

Again Mr. Calvento, mabuhay ka at gustung-gusto ko ang column mo ngayon, sana mabasa ng marami nating kababayan at magkaroon sila nang kaunting inspirasyon para maintindihan ang ikinahaharap ngayon ng ating bayan. Panahon na para tayong mga middle class na huwag nang magpautu-uto uli sa mga nagkukunwaring maging mga lider na wala naman silang pruweba para paniwalaan ng nakararami.
