"Ang tak...tak...tak sagot"

NUNG JULY 28, 2004 NILABAS NATIN SA ATING COLUMN ANG MGA REKLAMO SA HIGANTENG CORPORATION NG AJINOMOTO PHILS. ISINULAT NATIN ANG REKLAMO NG MGA MANGGAGAWA SA AJINOMOTO.
Itinampok natin ang reklamo ng mga Employees belonging to Ajinomoto Philippines, Incorporated, a Corporation based in the Philippines and run by Japanese executives seem to have forgotten that the Japanese occupation of the Philippines has long passed.
Mabigat nito, handang ibulgar daw ang mga illegal activities of Ajinomoto Philippines, Corp., who has been depriving the government of revenues through the under declaration of their income tax and sales revenues. Sige, taktakin ang Ajinomoto para ilabas ang kanilang mga libro so the proper government agency can look into it.
Dear Mr. Calvento:
We are sorry to note that Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation (APC) has been the subject of newspaper articles concerning the deportation case of Japanese expatriates, labor issues and tax matters.
We would like to inform you that the complaint for deportation filed against our Japanese officers before the Bureau of Immigration basically centers around labor issues which are presently pending before the Department of Labor and Employment and the Court of Appeals.
The acts complained of are untrue and complete falsehoods. On the contrary, APC has been operating in the Philippines for more than 40 years. It is a well-respected organization in the field of manufacturing. It presently provides jobs to approximately 1,000 Filipino employees nationwide.
We would like to underscore the fact that ever since APC started its operations in the Philippines, it has dutifully paid proper taxes to the Philippine government. Records will show that we are one of the big and consistent contributors to the Philippine coffers as far as tax collection is concerned.
The Japanese expatriates who are subjects of the deportation complaint are presently assigned in the country to share their expertise in ensuring the continued growth of APC and the Philippine economy in general. At all times, they have acted in accordance with the Philippine laws. All expatriates are also holders of valid visas and work permits.
We are sending this statement to all news reporters who wrote about this subject and copy furnished their corresponding editors.
Thank you so much. Our best regards.
