Before he left for his European and US trip, President Benigno “P-Noy” Aquino III came out to urge Filipino parents to have their children vaccinated as the Health Department kicked off its month-long immunization program. Come now, why is the Department of Health (DOH) forcing parents to immunize their children without given them any information as to where those vaccines came from?
The reason I ask is that P-Noy himself supported the law on Reproductive Health (RH) because he believes that Philippine population was just too big and he is a believer of that old economic doctrine where a small population is better for our economy. Therefore, in putting rabid pro-RH officials in the DOH like Usec. Janette Garin, we can only reckon that they’ll put to practice their personal advocacies like reducing our population.
As many of us in the anti-RH movement know, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation earmarked billions of dollars to give out free vaccines to 3rd world countries in order to reduce their populations. So it is the right of the Filipino parents to know whether the vaccines that the DOH is forcing upon our children can make our children sterile. So why can’t parents ask from the DOH where did those vaccines come from and what are the possible side-effects to their children if there are any?
I’ve pointed out to our readers in this corner that while we lost the battle against the RH Bill, which is now a law, this fight is far from over! So to you parents out there who someday would love to see their grandchildren, I challenge you to ask the DOH officialdom those questions before giving your consent to this immunization program. Forgive me for my suspicions, but when you have pro-RH people at the top of the DOH officialdom, and a President who supports RH, I suspect that they’d do their thing right under the noses of our parents. So parents do you want to see your grandchildren?

Speaking of President Aquino, just when you thought that he has given up the idea of his having his term extended, suddenly before he left for his foreign trip, he hinted once more during a Liberal Party caucus in Malacañang that he was “slightly open” to the idea of extending his term of office beyond 2016. To think this President tells us that he is transparent. Well, in my book, it is crystal clear that he still wants to be a presidential candidate for the 2016 elections. This is why we are against this Congress monkeying our Constitution via a constituent assembly.
We know too well that the problem with the Liberal Party today is that they don’t have winnable candidates for President. This is why P-Noy hasn’t openly endorsed his pal, Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas because no matter what this fellow does, he fumbles and stumbles... from the time of the impeachment of CJ Corona (where he drove Sen. Bong Revilla to meet the President) to his infamous Yolanda tete-a-tete with Mayor Alfred Romualdez.
Clearly, P-Noy is desperately seeking a candidate that he can back who is strong enough to become the next President of this country. Of course he has an ulterior motive… that person should assure him that he won’t follow the same path of his predecessor former President Gloria M. Arroyo in a hospital arrest.
As P-Noy stressed, “The feedback my sisters got is that they (detractors) were predicting I would last only six months after the DAP,” This is why he wants a second term because he believes that he might do better in his second term! Sorry Mr. President… when June 2016 comes around, it is time to pass your papers and get out of the classroom!
Meanwhile the position of Vice President Jejomar Binay who has already been endorsed by the Aquino family through former Senator Butz Aquino last August 21 is very precarious for him after his former Vice-Mayor Ernesto Mercado openly admitted before the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee that then Mayor Binay got 13 percent in kickbacks from every contract for projects that he entered in the City of Makati.
In my book, there’s no more need for another Blue Ribbon Committee hearing. The time for action is now… that Vice-President Binay can no longer continue saying that all this was politically motivated! All the elements of a crime committed are present in this case. First there’s the overpriced Makati Office and parking building, which has been compared to other similar buildings in Makati. Then most important of all, there is a witness in the person of his own Vice-Mayor Ernesto Mercado.
So we ask, what’s keeping the Office of the Ombudsman from taking the cudgels of this case vs Binay? If Congress refuses to impeach the Vice-President just like the way they refused to impeach P-Noy, what is left for us Filipinos to do? March once more in the streets in anger?
