NO RESPECT FOR CENTAVO. Many people still do not have any respect for the centavo. One of them is a PUJ conductor who was reported to The Ear as having thrown away two small denomination coins made part of the fare given him by a woman passenger. The conductor reportedly told the passenger: “Ayaw ko hatagi’g binlod.” He said this as the threw the coins away.
“HAMBUGERO”. When the woman passenger said: “Ayaw ilabay ang kuwarta oy gabaan ka baya.” The conductor was about to answer back but was stopped when someone, a young woman said: “Kahambugero nimong timawa.” She turned out to be the niece of the PUJ operator.
