TICKET COMPLAINT. This government worker who complained of a suspected modus operandi of bus conductors of this bus company said that there are many discrepancies on the issuance of bus tickets that the LTFRB should be aware of. He said that when he noticed that the holes punched in his ticket for the number of kilometers, he discovered that it covered only half of the distance of his travel. He said he asked the bus driver to stop at the Compostela Police Station because he wanted the incident placed on the blotter. At the police station, the conductor replaced his ticket with the correct distance but they also increased his fare from P80 to P153, but still without a date indicated on the ticket.
FARE UNFAIR. This government worker said that bus fares would go down and suddenly shoot up. He said that last March 31, he was made to pay only P80 from Daanbantayan to Cebu City. But when he rode on the same bus line last April 3 back to Daanbantayan, he was surprised that the fare shot up to P128 for each passenger. He said, “Is this scheme adopted by __ authorized by LTFRB? I believe the ultimate goal is to kill their competitor and soon they will have monopoly.”
