DISAPOINTED TSINOYS. At least two respectable Fil-Chinese businessmen have expressed disappointment with Sen. Miriam Santiago who they said they supported in the senatorial elections. Their disappointment arose from the senadora’s attack against China as “inventor of corruption.” One of them said: “It’s not China’s fault that corruption thrives in the Philippines.” The other Fil-Sino said: “Bitaw.
PREPARE FOR RAINS. The weather bureau had forecast that more rains are coming because of tropical depression Hanna. With more rains more flashfloods are also to be expected. It is only wise and proper for everyone to prepare for the rains, especially those in areas prone to floods.
