Free registration will start from 7AM on Saturday. Musical praise and worship, prayers and Holy Mass are part of the two-day convention.
The following topics shall be discussed: "Divine Mercy: Gift of Easter," "Divine Mercy and Deliverance", "Wanted for Today's Catholics: Re-evangelized Evangelizers", "Mary: The Mother of Mercy and Our Mother too,", and, "Jesus said: Healing Starts at the Confessional." Msgr. Cristobal Garcia will celebrate Holy Mass at 10:30 Saturday morning while Brother Stanley Villavicencio will lead the 3 o'clock prayer. For more details, please contact Bro. "For many years now, we have been holding such conventions. We never had to worry about how to feed thousands of participants because God in His Divine Mercy has always provided for our needs," Brother Stanley happily informed us when we met him at his home several weeks past.
"So, please invite everyone to come and please inform them that the convention is open to all, with free registration, free meals" We interrupted, and " free board and lodging as well for those who are not from Cebu?"
Brother Stanley answered, " even that concern has always been addressed by the Lord as there are those who offer to take in boarders among the participants at no fee at all or for a very minimal fee." Such confident testimonies of God's Divine Mercy and providence seem to come very easily to blessed people like Brother Stanley who have personally experienced meeting God, being touched by Him and His miracles at many points in their lives.
And more recent testimonies shall be shared and heard at the 11th Divine Convention for all the interested participants. And who knows who and how many more will experience miracles for themselves within and after this convention?
For those who will be unable to come, you may wish to get a copy of the book entitled, The Miracles of the Divine Mercy, where stories of Divine Mercy miracles have been compiled by Ms. Mercy Lotilla-Asensio, herself a witness of Divine Mercy miracles and blessings at many points in her life and that of her family. The book is on its 4th edition and compilation of miracles by witnesses continue to pour in. Here is one testimony quoted from the book:
On page 50, Brother Stanley Villavicencio shared the following (dated August, 2001 in Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City):
"Msgr. Cristobal Garcia my spiritual chaplain, is also the head of the Divine Mercy Apostolate of Visayas-Mindanao, Philippines. Msgr. Cris Garcia, in his mid-50s had a stroke last year. He was also diagnosed as suffering from a viral infection in his brain which the doctor said had come from his dogs. ( Msgr. Cris loved his dogs so much that he allowed them to sleep inside his room).
"When I visited him in the hospital, he could not open his eyes. I prayed the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy with him. Minutes after, he stood up and we talked with his eyes open! Then, a few minutes after, he asked for his laptop computer and he began working on it!
"The following day, we both prayed the chaplet together again. When he was examined thoroughly afterwards, the doctors' findings showed that he was negative of all infection! Jesus, the Divine Mercy healed him through the chaplet which we prayed with our hearts."

More stories await those who can personally attend the convention. Imagine meeting those who have been touched directly by the Lord! It will be such an entirely indescribable experience!
Who knows? Your being touched by the Divine Mercy, your own miracle, may be the next story to be written about or to be shared in future conventions!
