MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines would only outrun one of 21 other countries if Internet downloading were a race.

The Asian countries were ranked in Ookla Household download Index released in May, showing Afghanistan, with only an average speed of 2.52 Megabit per second (Mbps), as the only country that had a slower download speed than the Philippines, which has an average of 3.64 Mbps.

Singapore, meanwhile, would win the Internet speed race with broadband speed of 122.43 Mbps.
