TIME's list of 25 most influential teens today
MANILA, Philippines – Teens are undeniably one of the most effective advocacy catalysts in the society. There is no denying the power of their influence once they take on social media, television, sports, arts and science to voice out their opinions.
Based on social-media followings, cultural accolades and business acumen, TIME magazine has come up with their list of 25 most influential teens this year.
The Obama sisters were among the teens who made it to the list. Mo’ne Davis, an athlete who was featured as the cover of Sports Illustrated after pitching a shutout game in the Little League World Series was also included.
Chloe Moretz also secured a spot. The ‘Carrie’ and 'Kick Ass' star has made a name for herself by being starred in numerous box office hit movies. Her latest movie based on best-selling novel “If I Stay,” netted $47.6 million at the box office.
Representing the music industry is Lorde. This singer-songwriter rose to fame after her single ‘Royals,’ won two Grammy Awards this year. Since then, she had been a great influence in the music industry and pop culture.
