MANILA, Philippines — Nasungkit ng Quezon Cty government ang dalawang parangal sa 11th annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards.

Mismong si Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte ang tumanggap ng para­ngal na Gold Stevie award sa Innovation in Government Websites category.

Nakuha naman ng Public Affairs and Information Services Department, sa pangunguna ni Engelbert Apostol ang Bronze Stevie sa Most Innovative Communications Team of the Year class.

“Napakalaking pagkilala ito para sa pagsisikap nating mabilis na maibigay sa QCitizens ang lahat ng serbisyo ng pamahalaang lungsod sa pamamagitan lang ng pag-click sa ating website,” pahayag ni Mayor Belmonte.

Nakapaloob sa official website ng Quezon City na quezoncity.gov.ph ang iba’t ibang services at online systems sa ilalim ng QC E-Services portal.

Sa pamamagitan ng portal, madali at magaan ang pagbabayad sa business at real proper­ty tax assessments at makakuha ng   business at  building permits, locational clearances, sanitary permits, health certificates, occupational permits, at iba pa.

Sa ngayon, may 23 services na maaring makuha sa pamamagitan ng online kabilang na ang burial assistance and scholarships.

“As the chief communication arm of the Quezon City government, PAISD has worked tirelessly to inform QCitizens about the local government’s plans, policies, programs, events, and services through traditional and social media,” pahayag ni Belmonte.

Igagawad ang parangal sa gala awards banquet sa May 24 sa Shangri-La The Fort Hotel sa Bonifacio Global City.
