ITOGON, Benguet, Philippines — A miner died while his companion was injured when their sport utility vehicle (SUV) plunged into a ravine in this town yesterday morning.
Reports said the fatality and his companion were on their way home from a wake when they figured in the accident in Barangay Ampucao.
Probers said the vehicle was traveling along a winding portion of the Baguio-Philex Road when the driver lost control of the wheel.
