COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Two motorcycle-riding men were killed in an attack by unidentified assailants in Pikit, Cotabato on Friday.
Badruddin Nunungan and Midtimbang Basnarin suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene of the attack that occurred in Barangay Poblacion, authorities said.
The assailants managed to escape before responding barangay officials and watchmen arrived at the scene.
Probers have yet to determine the motive for the killing.
