Palace declares holidays in 5 areas

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has declared special non-working days in five localities this June to give residents the full opportunity to participate in local celebrations.

Proclamation 1259 declared June 23 as a special non-working day in Tabuk City in Kalinga for the commemoration of its founding anniversary.

The Palace also issued Proclamation 1260 declaring June 5 as a special non-working day in Bamban town in Tarlac.

The Office of the Mayor of Bamban requested that June 5 be declared as a special non-working day in lieu of June 6, which falls on a Saturday, the proclamation stated.

Meanwhile, Proclamation 1261 declared June 16 as a special non-working day in Bogo City in Cebu for the celebration of its Charter anniversary.

June 17 will be a special non-working day in Quirino, Isabela under Proclamation 1262 for the town’s 59th founding anniversary.

Proclamation 1263 declared June 17 as a special non-working in Maco, Davao de Oro to mark the town’s 59th founding anniversary.
