12 injured in Rizal road Mishap

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines —– Twelve people including four minors were injured when their vehicle rolled over in Antipolo City, Rizal on Monday afternoon.

Reports said the victims were traveling along Marcos Highway in Barangay Bagong Nayon when their Toyota Tamaraw figured in the accident at around 1 p.m.

Probers said the driver might have fallen asleep, causing the vehicle to crash into a concrete barrier before it rolled over.

The victims were rushed to the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center and to the Rizal Provincial Hospital System for treatment of injuries.

Investigation is ongoing.
