MANILA, Philippines — Police seized more than 2,000 reams of smuggled cigarettes worth over P5 million during a sting in Mandaue City over the weekend.

Acting Philippine National Police chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said the operation showed the government’s resolve against smuggling.
