LTO opens extension office in Quezon province

INFANTA, Quezon, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office (LTO) yesterday opened an extension office in this town to provide transportation-related services to residents in the northern part of Quezon.
The office, located in Barangay Pilaway, was inaugurated by LTO-Calabarzon chief Elmer Decena, Gov. Angelina Tan, former congresswoman Trina Enverga and the mayors of Real, Infanta, and General Nakar towns.
The LTO extension office will serve eight municipalities including Burdeos, General Nakar, Infanta, Jomalig, Panukulan, Patnanungan, Polillo and Real.
Decena said the new office would ease the burden of motorists who previously had to travel to Laguna and Rizal as well as Lucena City or Metro Manila to apply for a driver’s license or register their vehicles.
The LTO-Infanta is a one-stop facility for LTO transactions covering areas north of the province.
