Law creating 11 Davao court branches signed
MANILA, Philippines — President Marcos has signed a law creating 11 new branches for the Municipal Trial Court (MTC) in Davao City.
Republic Act (RA) 12307 signed by the President on Sept. 18 tasked the Supreme Court to assign members for the new branches of the MTC in the 11th Judicial Region.
Funds needed for the implementation of RA 12307 and provisions for Hall of Justice or courtrooms will be included in the General Appropriations Act.
On the same day, Marcos also signed RA 12306 granting a 25-year franchise to the Pampanga Rural Electric Service Cooperative Inc.
The law allows the power cooperative to construct, install, establish, operate, own, manage and maintain a power distribution system in the municipalities of Arayat, Magalang, Mexico and Sta. Ana in Pampanga.
