MANILA, Philippines — Minimum wage earners in Calabarzon will receive a higher take-home pay starting next month after the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) increased their daily wage rate from P25 to P100.

The Department of Labor and Employment said the RTWPB-Calabarzon issued a new wage order increasing the daily minimum wage of workers in the agriculture and non-agriculture sectors as well as in retail and service establishments employing not more than 10 people.

The wage order will be implemented in two tranches this coming Oct. 5 and on April 1, 2026.

Upon effectivity of the wage order, minimum wage earners in extended metropolitan areas will receive an increase of P40 and P25 for non-agriculture and agriculture workers, respectively.

Workers in non-agriculture establishments in component cities will receive an increase of P60 in their daily pay, while their counterparts in the agriculture sector will receive an additional P25.

Workers in first-class municipalities will receive a daily increase of P30 and P25 for the non-agriculture and agriculture sectors, respectively.

Workers across all sectors in reclassified first-class municipalities will receive an increase of P60 and P40 for the first and second tranche, respectively, according to an order issued by the Department of Finance.

Non-agriculture workers from second- to fifth-class municipalities will receive P60 and P15 for the first and second tranche, respectively, while those in the agriculture sector will get P60 and P23.

Meanwhile, workers in retail and service establishments employing not more than 10 people will receive an increase of P60 for the first tranche, and P23 for the second.

“The wage increase shall apply to all minimum wage earners in the private sector within the region, regardless of their position, designation or status, and irrespective of the method by which their wages are paid,” the RTWPB said.
