Marcos to visit port, agri facilities in Misamis

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines — President Marcos is set to visit Misamis Oriental to inaugurate a port expansion project and two agricultural facilities today.
The chief executive will also release 93 patient transport vehicles to northern Mindanao provinces.
Gov. Peter Unabia said the province has been waiting for Marcos to inaugurate the expansion of Balingoan port so it could start the missionary routes to Bohol, Leyte and Cebu in the Visayas.
Unabia said the port is a transshipment point for the province’s agricultural products to the Visayas regions.
Marcos is also set to visit a rice processing facility and an integrated coconut processing facility in Balingsag town before attending a meeting with economic managers.
