2 lotto bettors split P118.9 million prize

MANILA, Philippines — Two bettors won the P118.9-million jackpot in the 6/45 Mega Lotto draw on Monday night.

Melquiades Robles, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) general manager and vice chairman of the board, said the bettors both guessed the winning combination 25-37-08-45-24-18.

They will split the prize amounting to P118,964,375.60.

The PCSO said 59 bettors got five digits of the winning combination. They will receive P32,000 each.

Lotto winnings are subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law.

The Mega Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
