MANILA, Philippines — Two women were injured when a fire hit a residential building in Caloocan City last Friday afternoon.
The victims, aged 22 and 27, sustained abrasions and swelling on their legs, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The fire broke out around 4:57 p.m. and reached the first alarm, the BFP’s National Capital Region field office said in a report.
The fire hit a four-story building along 1st Avenue in Barangay 40, according to arson probers. Investigators traced the fire on the fourth floor of the building.
Firefighters doused the fire around 5:49 p.m.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
