MANILA, Philippines — Meanwhile, Bureau of Customs (BOC) operatives recovered a parcel that had been abandoned at the DHL warehouse near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport yesterday.
The parcel contained 50 disposable vapes, each with two milliliters of cannabis oil, valued at P6,800.
The parcel, declared to contain toys, was shipped by Jason An of Orlando in the United States and consigned to Chares Santos of Langit street in Sta. Cruz, Manila, the BOC said.
The vapes were turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency for further investigation and filing of charges against those involved in the attempt to smuggle cannabis oil into the country, the BOC said.
