It identified Honda Bay in Puerto Princesa as having tested positive for Paralytic Shellfish Poison (PSP) or the toxic red tide.
BFAR said that shellfish collected from the coastal waters of Dauis town and Tagbilaran City in Bohol, Dumanquillas Bay in Zamboanga del Sur and San Benito town in Surigao del Norte all tested positive for PSP.
It warned the public that harvesting, selling, buying and eating of any type of shellfish from these areas are prohibited.
