P1.4 million shabu seized in Metro Manila stings

MANILA, Philippines —  Anti-narcotics police confiscated at least P1.4 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu in three stings in Metro Manila since Tuesday.

In Quezon City, around 100 grams of shabu valued at P680,000 were confiscated from John Rey Aceron, 34, and Venancio Obcianal, 31, in Barangay Balon Bato at around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, around 51.35 grams of shabu valued at P349,180 were recovered from Arjay Ungui, 32, in Barangay North Bay Boulevard South, Navotas yesterday.

In Makati, police confiscated over 60 grams of shabu with a street value of P408,000 from suspects identified only as Red Horse, Tarek and Bebang, who were arrested along Bernardino street in Barangay Guadalupe Viejo at around 6:50 p.m.
