CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Up to 18,196 people have benefitted from a free theoretical driving course conducted by the Land Transporation Office (LTO) in Bicol.
Francisco Ranches, chief of the LTO-Bicol, said that among those who joined the program were applicants for driving license and student drivers.
“In line with LTO’s advocacy for road safety, the theoretical driving course is one of the requirements in applying for a driver’s license,” Ranches said.
Each participant saved at least P1,000 for availing themselves of the free LTO-Bicol program.
Ranches said up to 8,352 Driver’s Education Centers participated in the program.
