Go inaugurates Super Health Center in Pampanga
MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Bong Go attended the inauguration and blessing of a new Super Health Center in Arayat, Pampanga on Thursday.
In his speech delivered during the event, Go said the Super Health Center project was intended to decongest crowded hospitals, detect diseases early and provide vital healthcare services to people belonging to the grassroots level.
The Super Health Center is expected to provide database management, out-patient, birthing, isolation, diagnostics, pharmacy and ambulatory surgical services.
Before attending the event, Go inspected the Super Health Center in nearby Lubao town.
Through the efforts of the Department of Health, local government units and Go’s fellow senators, funds have been allocated for the construction of Super Health Centers nationwide.
Pampanga alone has 14 Super Health Centers funded under the program.
Go thanked Gov. Dennis Pineda and Vice Gov. Lilia Pineda as well as Arayat Mayor Maria Lourdes Alejandrino and Vice Mayor Bon Alejandrino for serving their constituents.
He also thanked Mayors Leonardo Flores of Macabebe, Darwin Manalansan of Floridablanca, Catalina Cabrera of Sasmuan abd Jing Capil of Porac.
During the event, Go and his Malasakit Team distributed snacks, gift packs, shirts and sports equipment to residents and barangay health workers.
