2 die in Pangasinan vehicular mishap

SAN FABIAN, Pangasinan, Philippines — Two men died in a collision involving a motorcycle and a car in this town on Wednesday night.

Edward Mendoza, 31, and Richard Maniklang, 28, were declared dead on arrival at the Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City.

Investigation showed the motorcycle, driven by Mendoza, allegedly overtook another vehicle before it collided with the car in Barangay Rabon.

The impact threw Mendoza and Maniklang off the motorcycle.

Car driver Michael Bolima and his two passengers were not injured in the accident.
