MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Grace Poe wants the Office for Transportation Security to have a one-strike policy against OTS personnel involved in theft and other wrongdoings.

Poe urged the OTS and the Department of Transportation to review the hiring process to ensure proper vetting of personnel.

OTS administrator Ma.O Aplasca has resigned after a female screener was recorded on video swallowing $300 in bills from a departing Chinese tourist at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

“We have to distinguish the bad eggs who are spoiling the image of the OTS. This is not fair to those faithfully doing their duties,” Poe said.
