BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — A liquor ban will be imposed within the 50-meter radius of St. Louis University in this city where the Bar examinations will be held this month.
Mayor Benjamin Magalong issued Executive Order No. 118 imposing the liquor ban from midnight of Sept. 16 to 10 p.m. of Sept. 17, midnight of Sept. 19 to 10 p.m. of Sept. 20 and midnight of Sept. 23 to 10 p.m.
Consumption as well as selling, dispensing, distributing and serving of liquor and other alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
City legal officer Althea Alberto said 1,049 examinees are taking the Bar in this city.
There are 14 testing centers nationwide for the Bar exams: six in Metro Manila, three each in Luzon and the Visayas and two in Mindanao.
