Calabarzon’s fourth most wanted fugitive falls
MANILA, Philippines — The fourth most wanted fugitive in Calabarzon was arrested in Makati City on Friday.
Mark Ryan Beblanas, 19, was collared by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Barangay Palanan at around 11:58 p.m., the Southern Police District (SPD) said.
Lawmen served arrest warrants issued by a court in Cavite against Beblanas for six counts of rape without bail. He is also facing charges of statutory rape and sexual assault, with bail set at P200,000 each.
The suspect will be presented to court to stand trial.
In Las Piñas, the sixth most wanted person in the city was arrested on Friday.
The SPD said Arddy Kim Baruelo, 34, was collared in Barangay San Dionisio in Parañaque City at around 11:30 a.m.
Police served a warrant for Baruelo’s arrest on a charge of robbery with violence or intimidation of persons by a court, which set bail at P100,000.
