BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — A former soldier was arrested after he was caught molesting a 14-year-old girl in Barangay Gucab in Echague, Isabela on Sunday.
Delfin Pascua, 74, was reportedly caught by a village watchman while touching the girl’s genitals under a mango tree in a cornfield.
Charges of rape through sexual assault were prepared against the suspect.
The victim was turned over to the municipal social welfare development office.
