MANILA, Philippines — Germany will hire 600 registered Filipino nurses for hospitals and elderly care centers through the Department of Migrant Workers, the German embassy in Manila announced yesterday.
The embassy said interested applicants are required to have German language proficiency of B1 or B2 level.
Applicants can attend free German language classes in the Philippines, the embassy added.
Qualified applicants should register online and secure an appointment at www.dmw.gov.ph or http://onlineservices.dmw.gov.ph.
Deadline for submission of applications at the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration central office in Ortigas, Pasig and regional offices is on Sept. 30.
There are 6,000 Filipino nurses in Germany. Of the figure, around 2,000 were employed through the Triple Win Project.
