INFANTA, Pangasinan, Philippines — Mayor Marvin Martinez of this town has called on the police to solve the killing of former Pangasinan State University (PSU) executive director Naominida Olermo.
Olermo, 67, whose body bore hack wounds, was found at the back of her residence in Sitio Sawang in Barangay Bamban on March 8.
Martinez noted that Olermo, a native of Mindanao, chose to live in this town to help the community, especially in education, agriculture and tourism.
The PSU administration also called on law enforcement agencies to expedite the investigation to ensure that the perpetrators will be penalized “to the full extent of the law.”
